Seriously?

I have trouble believing that people like Ms. Hasselbeck exist.  That they are real.  It is such a letdown for the human race.  On top of that, she is given a soap box to shout from.  This is insane.  How can someone be so blind.   Full of fear?
Hasselbeck just continues to spout off about politics, when it is well beyond a political issue.  It is just plain wrong.  The us against them, right/left mentality is such a trick.  Some people just don't get it.  If you are older than 16 years old and you do not see something inherently wrong with war and torture, you have major issues.  I mean....come on.
Maybe I will go into this later, but the clip speaks for itself.

Speech from Boston Legal

I know it is  from the tele, but it rings true.

Take a Second

Take a second to think....

Take a second to think about taxation.  How much money is the government taking in.
Lets look at this.  The profits of the company that you work for are taxed.  Your wage is taxed by federal, state, local, and sometimes county governments.  This reduces the amount of money in your pocket.  On top of that you are taxed for everything that you buy.  You need gas for your car, it is taxed.  Pack of smokes, taxed.  Food on the table, taxed.  Clothes on your back, taxed.  You want to fly to visit relatives, taxed and fees.  Everything is taxed.   Your electric bill, your phone, your water....

And the fees.  You want to build a house or add on a deck, you need a permit.  You want to launch a boat into the river, you need a permit.  Get a drivers liscense, there is a fee.  Register you car.  Own a car.  Buy a car.   You want to take a shit in the woods, you might be fined.  Your property is taxed until the day you die.  You cannot own anything outright in the United States.  Even after you pay for your house, you have to pay property taxes for the rest of your life.

If you do not pay, you will be fined, penalized, humiliated, or imprisioned.
And we are free?

We work to buy things with Monopoly money that is of no real value.
Work, buy, consume, die.
That's the new American Dream!
It is insane.

The Hypocrisy is Astounding

GOP Leader Boehner Floor Speech Opposing Democrats' Trillion-Dollar Spending Bill

Mr. Boehner had no problem voting for the USA patriot act without reading it.

Ron Paul - Patriot Act - NOBODY READ IT!

Regarding the USA Patriot Act

Rep. Peter Defazio stated, "This bill is still warm. It just came off the Xerox machine. ... I go to my friends on the Committee on the Judiciary and ask them what is in it, and they said, `We cannot tell you; we do not know. Our copies are still warm in our hands, too.' '

You can find Mr. Boehner's name in the Yeas section on the Patriot Act vote.
